Motorcyclist dies after crash involving lorry in Nantwich

A motorcyclist has died after a crash involving a lorry in Nantwich.

Paramedics from West Midlands and North West Ambulance Services were called to London Road at just after 8pm last night.

Despite best efforts, a man was pronounced dead at the scene.

In a statement, West Midlands Ambulance service said: “On arrival ambulance staff found a motorcyclist who had been involved in a very serious collision with a lorry.

"Sadly, nothing could be done to save the rider and he was confirmed deceased on scene. The lorry driver was assessed but was uninjured.”
