Man dies after being hit by lorry in Uttoxeter
It happened on the A50 in the early hours of Saturday
A man has died after being hit by a lorry on the A50 in Uttoxeter.
Emergency services rushed to westbound carriageway between the Derby Road roundabout and the McDonald’s roundabout, at around 2.40am on Saturday morning.
Police say first aid was given, but the 24-year-old died at the scene.
The man’s family are being supported by specialist officers.
