Family pay tribute to man who died following collision in Newcastle-under-Lyme
It happened on Kidsgrove Bank
The family of a man who died following a collision in Newcastle-under-Lyme have paid tribute to him.
It happened on Monday 24th March.
Staffordshire Police were called out to reports of a single-vehicle collision on Kidsgrove Bank.
Sadly, the driver, Malcolm Howell, aged 75 and from Kidsgrove, died at the scene.
His family are being supported by specially-trained officers at this difficult time.
In a tribute to him, Malcolm’s family said:
“Malcolm was a dedicated oil blender at Fuchs until his retirement, where he was known for his hard work and commitment.
“A loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Malcolm’s warmth, kindness and wisdom will be deeply missed by his family. His memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.
“May he rest in peace, forever in our hearts”.
The family have asked that their privacy is respected at this time.
Staffordshire Police have said
"We are keen to speak to anyone with any CCTV or dashcam footage from the area or those with any information which could help collision investigators."
