Tramlines: Pulp, Reytons, Kasabian & Sigrid to take to the stage - all you need to know
50,000 music fans are expected to descend on Hillsborough Park over the next three days
Last updated 25th Jul 2025
Thousands of music fans are set to descend on Sheffield this weekend as Tramlines returns to Hillsborough Park.
The event, which is now in its 15th year (not counting the cancelled 2020 edition), is expected to draw 50,000 people over the next three days - with many more also getting to see Fringe events across the city centre.
Who is headlining this year?
Pulp, Spiritualized and comedian John Shuttleworth are among the big acts taking to the stage tonight, with Rotherham's Reytons, Franz Ferdinand, Jake Bugg and Rizzle Kicks headlining tomorrow.
The event concludes on Sundays with headliners Kasabian, The Last Dinner Party and Sigrid.
When does the festival open/close? And when is everyone performing?
The gates at Hillsborough Park open at 12pm each day of the festival, with last entry to the site at 7pm. Headliners are expected to finish between 10pm and 11pm each night, with the festival site remaining open for 30 minutes after the last act finishes.
Lineups and stage times can be found via the clashfinder website or via the official Tramlines app on Android and iOS.
How can I get to the festival site? Is there any parking?
There are two entrances to the festival site - one on Penistone Road, the other on Middlewood Road.
There is official car parking, with tickets available here. However you will not be able to park on any nearby residential streets as there are strictly limited. Free parking is unlikely within around a mile of the site.
Tram goers can take the Yellow or Blue Routes, stopping at either Hillsborough or Hillsborough Park. Special trams will operate for festival goers leaving the site.
For buses - get off at Hillsborough Park. Taxis will operate via a pick up and drop off site at Hillsborough Leisure Centre Car Park.
Further information on transport can be found via the Travel South Yorkshire website.
Will any local roads be closed?
Access to many residential streets will be limited to people living there only - a map of closures can be found below:
