Cyclists in South Yorkshire & North Derbyshire admit they feel 'constantly at risk' - whenever they're out on the roads.

A new report's found more than 15,000 video clips of close overtaking incidents were shared to police forces last year.

That's a record amount in England & Wales over a 12 month period.

Graham Briggs is part of a cycling club in Doncaster:

"A lot of cyclists and people that are commuting are using video recording devices nowadays because they feel vulnerable on the roads I think.

"The roads are getting busier and the conditions of the roads don't help either, as we have to dodge a lot of potholes.

"It'd be nice if there were less motorists passing by so closely - if you pass a cyclist close in a car, you never know what's going to happen.

"People seem more and more in a rush, but I think we should all try and share the roads more where we can."

The research has been carried out by the Road Safety charity IAM RoadSmart.
