Two men arrested on suspicion of affray after Shiregreen stabbing
Police were called to two separate incidents in the Sheffield suburb last night
Two men have been arrested in connection with a stabbing the Shiregreen area of Sheffield last night.
Police were initially called to Dugdale Road at 7:53pm to reports of a group of people fighting with weapons.
They had left the scene in several vehicles before officers arrived.
A short time later at 8:03pm officers were called to reports of a knife attack on nearby Nether Shire Lane.
A 41 year old man was seriously injured and was taken to hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.
Two men, aged 46 and 28, were arrested on suspicion of affray. They both remain in police custody.
