Man charged with GBH after assault outside Sheffield pub
A man suffered serious injured in the attack over the Easter weekend
A man has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent, after a serious assault outside a Sheffield pub.
The victim, in his 30s, remains in hospital following the attack on Saturday (April 19) at around 8:30pm outside the Sherwood Pub on Birley Moor Road.
Michael Tyrrell, 54, of Moss House Court in Sheffield is also accused of driving without insurance and driving without a licence.
He has been remanded in custody ahead of an appearance at Sheffield Crown Court on May 22.
