Man wanted after assault inside Sheffield bar

Police are appealing for witnesses and information after an assault at a bar in Sheffield City Centre before Christmas.

It happened at around 1:40am on December 21 inside the Maggie May’s bar on Trippet Lane.

A 24 year old man was attacked and suffered minor injuries.

Officers have now released a CCTV image of a suspect, described as in his mid-30s, 6ft tall, and of broad build.

He is bald with a long ginger beard.

Anyone with information is being urged to contact police on 101.
