A kitten - which was abandoned in a carry crate in the Peak District last month - has been safely re-homed in Sheffield.
Volunteers from the Eastern Moors Partnership Rangers found the female cat on Ramsley Moor last Friday night - after weeks of searching for her.
Tomo Thompson was one of the countryside rangers who helped to find the kitten - who's since been named 'Ramsley':
"The cat was put in the box when we rescued her.
"The box was taken to my friends' house in Crosspool.
"Last Saturday morning - the morning after she'd been rescued - the cat was taken to a vet in Hillsborough.
"She wasn't very heavy - I think she was about 2.6kg.
"The vet estimated she's around 5-6 months old, so she was very underweight for her age.
"The vets established she was a female kitten, and we can only imagine what this kitten has gone through.
"I saw the cat yesterday - she's now living in a nice, warm house in Crosspool.
"It doesn't quite know what's going on yet, but she's got a family to live with.
"Ramsley could've been on the moors for weeks and weeks or months and months for all we know.
"She's had a bit of a life adventure - surviving all that horrendous weather on the moors.
"Ramsley probably survived on mice or something, but we managed to catch her and give her a good home, and now she's living her best life in Crosspool."
The Eastern Moors partnership first spotted the empty carry crate in January.
Another carry crate was also found in the moors at the same time, and sadly - last week - another kitten - believed to be Ramsley's sibling - was found dead - close to where Ramsley was discovered.
