Man dies after Sheffield stabbing
A murder investigation has since been launched
A murder investigation is underway following the death of a 24-year-old man in the Netherthorpe area of Sheffield.
Emergency services were called at 4.35am earlier today (9 March) to Ponderosa Park, near Oxford Street, following reports of a man found with multiple stab wounds.
Despite the best efforts of our officers and paramedics, the man sadly died at the scene. His family have been informed and are being supported by officers.
Formal identification of the victim has not yet taken place.
A scene remains in place in Ponderosa Park as officers continue their work and there will be additional patrols in the area.
