Man charged over murder of Paul Sharp in Rotherham

A man has been charged over the murder of Rotherham man Paul Sharp in 2023.

Police were called to Redscope Crescent on October 25 2023, finding the 52 year old with serious injuries.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Martin Hoyland, 47, of HMP Marshgate, has been charged with murder and possession of a blade.

He remains in prison and will appear before Sheffield Magistrates Court on Monday (March 24).
