Police have launched an appeal to find a man who has absconded from HMP Hatfield in Doncaster.

33 year old Liam Slater, of HMP Hatfield, hasn't been seen since boarding a train to Leeds at Stainforth Station on May 18.

It's thought he'd left the Category D prison at around 6:15pm the same evening.

Slater has links to Seacroft in Leeds and Wetherby.

Anyone who sees him is being urged not to approach him, but instead to call 999.
