PROMOTED: Doncaster Rovers confirm return to League One with win over Bradford

Doncaster Rovers have earned a return to League One following a 2 - 1 win over promotion rivals Bradford City.

Rob Street scored in the first half, before an extra-time goal from Billy Sharp confirmed the win over the Bantams, who could only manage a late consolation goal.

The win places them top of League Two on 81 points, meaning Rovers' lead is now insurmountable and Grant McCann's men won't face the play offs.

Doncaster return to the League One after three seasons in the fourth tier, having faced relegation at the end of the 2021/22 campaign.
