Police are appealing for a dog walker to come forward after the murder of a man in Stocksbridge last month.
34 year old Lee Wesson was fatally injured in a street fight at around 8:30pm on April 12, later passing away in hospital.
Four arrests have been made, with a 35-year-old woman, two men aged 30 and a 37-year-old man being questioned on suspicion of murder and bailed.
Officers have been combing CCTV since and have identified a man walking a small brown dog on Knoll Close at the time as a potential key witness.
He was wearing a dark red long sleeved top, with black shorts. He is described as a white man, being between the ages of 40 to 50, around 6ft tall, and is bald.
Detective Inspector Adam Watkinson, who is the senior investigating officer on this case, said:
"If this is you please do the right thing and come forward.
"You are not in trouble, but could hold vital information which could help our investigation as it progresses further and we seek to gain justice for Lee and his family."
Anyone with information about the case can contact South Yorkshire Police on 101.
