Chesterfield FC say Danny Webb is back as assistant manager, following his brief spell at Yeovil Town.
Danny left Chesterfield earlier this month to take up the managerial position but, after just ten days, he stepped down from the role for personal reasons.
Chairman Ashley Kirk said:
“We are delighted to welcome Danny back to Chesterfield. He has always been a hugely valued member of staff and we maintained an excellent working relationship throughout his time here.
“Danny is well respected not just internally but also by our supporters, and we know how popular his return will be.
“On behalf of the club, I’d like to extend my empathy and appreciation to Yeovil Town’s owners and board, who have handled this difficult situation with the utmost professionalism and understanding.
“We recognise this will not have been an easy episode for them and we thank them for their conduct throughout.
“Most importantly, we are pleased to have Danny back with us and we look forward to continuing the good work together.”
