A South Yorkshire mum of 2 children - killed by their dad in a deliberate house fire - says her new book is a 'lasting testimony' to her sons.

Claire Throssell MBE - from Penistone - has released For My Boys today - after writing her autobiography over the last decade.

12-year-old Jack & 9-year-old Paul died in 2014 - when their dad set the house they were in on fire - killing all 3 of them.

It happened during an unsupervised visit by Claire's ex-husband - which was granted by the family court.

She hopes it'll 'give hope' to others in abusive relationships:

"There's no book out there that tells you how to live without your children.

"Now I know why there's no books out there that tell you how to live without your children.

"That's because writing this book and being 100% honest has almost broken me.

"However, if it helps just one person, then it's been worth all the pain.

"This book is for anybody who's lost a child, and this book is also for anybody who's going through domestic abuse or has been through domestic abuse.

"It may help some people to change their lives or validate their own situations.

"I've gone through bottles and bottles of wine writing this book, but in there everything is chronicled, and it outlines how I carry the boys with me - wherever I go.

"This is a book about love, it's about loss - it's about my fight for justice for Jack & Paul - and it's a lasting testimony to them that will be there now forever."
