Bomb detonated after being found in Rotherham
A cordon has been lifted after a suspected unexploded bomb in the canal in Rotherham.
Police say they were called near to Parkgate tram stop.
Bomb disposal experts moved it and carried out a controlled explosion.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesperson said:
"A 100m cordon, which was in place as a precaution near Stonerow Way in Rotherham, has been lifted after the discovery earlier today (24 March) of a suspected explosive device from the Second World War.
"We were called to the area around 2pm following a report of a suspected explosive device which had been found in the canal near Parkgate tram stop.
"Bomb disposal experts from the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team were dispatched to the scene and this evening they have transported the device to a safe location and carried out a controlled explosion.
"All travel routes, roads and footpaths in the surrounding area have been reopened, with all cordons lifted and we would like to thank for the public for their cooperation and understanding."
