Barnsley FC have confirmed the signing of full-back Nathanael Ogbeta on a season-long loan from Plymouth Argyle.

The 24 year old Manchester City academy product has also spent time at Swansea and Shrewsbury, signing a two year deal with Argyle in 2023.

He's had loan spells at Peterborough United and Bolton Wanderers and has also played as an England U20 international.

Speaking to the Reds website Ogbeta said: “I’m delighted to join the Club and I’m looking forward to getting going with the lads.

“Currently, I’m in London because I’m getting married at the weekend! But I’m excited to join the lads next week and getting started.”
