Police appeal after assault and hate crime in Sheffield
Police are trying to trace a man who shouted abuse and attacked someone in Castle Square
Police have released an image of a man they're looking for, after an assault and reports of a hate crime in Sheffield.
It happened at around 5:10pm last Wednesday (October 9) at the Castle Square tram stop. It's reported a man shouted hateful abuse at the victim, before attacking them.
Officers are trying to trace a described as white, of medium build , between the ages of 20-30 years old..
Anyone with information is being urged to get in touch with South Yorkshire Police on 101.
