Woman questioned on suspicion of attempted murder after Pontypridd assault
Police say a 58 year old man has suffered life changing injuries.
A man is in hospital with life changing injuries after an attack in Pontypridd.
A 45 year old local woman is being questioned on suspicion of attempted murder.
South Wales Police say they were called to reports of an assault in a lane between the Probation Service and Kwikfit in the town centre on Tuesday morning.
A 58 year old man from Pentre was hurt and was taken to hospital.
Detective Inspector Kath Barry of Pontypridd CID said: “I want to thank members of the community who have come forward and have supported our investigation"
The force says its not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident.
