Motorists are being urged to drive with caution after snow brought hazardous conditions to parts of west Wales.
Dozens of schools have closed for the day, with 36 shut in Pembrokeshire, 14 in Carmarthenshire and seven in Ceredigion.
A number of Pembrokeshire roads are closed, including the B4329 Preseli Road, and vehicles are blocking the B4314 from Tavernspite to Cold Blow.
A total of 631 properties are without power, the county council added.
A Met Office weather warning for ice and snow remains in force until midnight, with an additional weather warning issued for ice tomorrow morning.
Sennybridge in Powys recorded the season's lowest temperature in Wales so far last night of -6.4 degrees celsius.
