A 41-year-old man who died in a road traffic crash on Boxing Day in Trebanog Terrace, Penderyn, has been named as Jamie Lee Morrison.

Jamie, who was from the Penderyn area, was described by his family as a “loving son, brother, grandson, and uncle.” In a tribute, his family said:

“He was only 41 having been taken from us so suddenly, and nothing can express the loss that we are currently feeling as a family.

“He was well known in the community and was loved by everyone who knew him. He had a heart of gold and was totally selfless and would help anyone in need. His family meant everything to him.

“Jamie loved football and was a massive Arsenal fan. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him, especially by the boys at the New Inn, Rhigos.

“Jamie will forever live on in our hearts and never be forgotten.”

The family has asked for their privacy to be respected and requested that people not speculate about the incident.

Police confirmed that an investigation into the crash is ongoing. The Serious Collision Investigation Unit is urging witnesses to come forward.
