Ian 'H' Watkins creates dance to help families avoid bill 'tragedy'
H from Steps has launched 5, 6, 7, Freeze- a dance designed to help families across Wales and beyond keep their finances in check as we head into Awful April
With price increases across essential services taking effect this month, new research has found households across the UK are experiencing increasing strain on their finances.
A recent survey by Tesco Mobile of 2,000 people found that nearly eight in ten respondents report frequent frustration related to their monthly bills- an average of 14 times each month.
Welsh cities are showing particularly high levels of concern.
In Cardiff, 95% of residents report experiencing resentment when household bills rise. In Swansea, that number reaches 100%, making it the UK city with the highest level of bill-related frustration.
The data shows that across Wales, 69% of people feel more affected by rising bills than they did three years ago.
The impact is especially noticeable in urban areas, with 82% of Cardiff residents and 75% in Swansea reporting some level of financial strain related to recurring payments in the past year.
Among the most commonly cited concerns are council tax and TV licence fees, mentioned by 58% and 60% of respondents respectively.
Commenting on the issue of rising bills Ian H Watkins said,
“As a busy parent, juggling bills alongside everything else life throws at you can feel overwhelming.
"The constant worry about rising costs only adds to the stress. That’s why it’s such a relief to know that families like mine can stay connected without the fear of unexpected price hikes, thanks to Tesco Mobile’s Frozen Prices on Clubcard Price deals.
"It means one less thing to think about giving us more time to enjoy the moments that matter, whether that’s learning the 5,6,7, Freeze dance with the kids so you won’t forget to get that contract sorted, or just having fun together”
