Motorcyclist dies following Raglan collision

A motorcyclist from Kent has died following a collision in South Wales.

Officers from Gwent Police were called to the A40 at Raglan on Saturday morning at around 10.55am.

The collision is understood to have occurred on the southbound off slip, travelling onto the A449, and involved one motorcycle, a black Ducati Multistrada.

The rider, a 27-year-old man from the Kent area, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say his family is being supported by specially trained officers.

An appeal has been launched, with anyone with information, dashcam, or CCTV footage urged to come forward.
