Four charged with arson after South Wales house fire

Four people have been charged after a house fire in a town in the Rhondda Valley.

South Wales Police and South Wales Fire and Rescue Service were called to Protheroe Street, Ferndale, in the early hours of Monday 28 July.

Detectives say three men aged 18, 19 and 23 and a 19-year-old woman, all from the Weston-super-Mare area, have been charged with the following:

  • Auryn Gustar, aged 19, charged with arson with intent to endanger life
  • Connor Pitt, aged 23, charged with arson with intent to endanger life
  • Storm Truman, aged 19, charged with arson with intent to endanger life

= Alfie Wheeler, aged 18, charged with arson with intent to endanger life & possess knife blade/sharp pointed article in a public place

All four have been ordered to appear in on Wednedsay 30 July.
