Eighth person charged in connection with Joanne Penney murder

A woman from Leicester has become the eighth person to be charged in connection with the death of a woman in South Wales.
Joanne Penney, 40, died after being shot at a flat in Llys Illtyd, Talbot Green, on March 9.
On Monday, June 9, Molly Cooper appeared at Merthyr Magistrates Court charged with participating in the activities of an organised crime group and acquire ammunition for a firearm without a certificate in connection with Joanne's murder.
Cooper, 33, from Leicester has been remanded in custody and will stand trial in October along with seven other defendants in connection with Joanne’s death.
