Couple from Swansea jailed for involvement in Class A drug supply

A Swansea man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for pleading guilty to his involvement in the supply of Class A drugs.
36-year-old David Davies, from Loughor, was subject of a warrant at his home address in July.
South Wales Police say large quantities of drugs, paraphernalia and cash were found during the warrant.
Intelligence then led officers to a self-storage unit being used by Davies, in which a significant amount of further drugs and other materials were discovered.
Davies pleaded guilty to possession of criminal property, possession with intent to supply cocaine and cannabis, being concerned in the supply of cocaine, ketamine and ecstasy, possession of cannabis resin and driving a motor vehicle without a licence.
Davies’s partner, 35-year-old Linzi Jones from Gorseinon, has also been jailed after she assisted Davies in supplying drugs and carried out his debt collecting after he was remanded.
Jones pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of cocaine and possession of criminal property.
She has been sentenced to two years and eight months in prison.
Sergeant Luke Tucker said: “David Davies and Linzi Jones were involved in a large-scale operation of peddling Class A drugs onto the streets of Swansea and the surrounding areas.
“This will have done untold damage to those who purchased the drugs and also to their families and wider communities.
“Drug dealing remains a blight which South Wales Police is committed to tackling. Those involved in the trade care nothing for the wellbeing of anyone else – they only care about their bottom line.
“The scale of David Davies’ offending has got him a long stretch in prison. The streets are better off with both Davies and Jones in jail.”
