Arrest made after serious assault in Swansea

South Wales Police officers were called to a serious assault which shortly before midday yesterday (Thursday February 6).
The incident took place on Heol y Deri, Cwmrhydyceirw, Swansea
A 41-year-old man from Townhill has been taken to hospital, with serious injuries that are not thought to be life-threatening at this time.
A 41-year-old man from Ynysforgan has been arrested in connection with this incident and is currently in police custody.
This investigation is currently ongoing.
South Wales police have advised that there will be an increased police presence in the area whilst the investigation is carried out.
