A court's heard a 21-year-old man from Merthyr Tydfil was found dead in his hotel room by friends in Spain.
Harvey Dominy had traveled to Benidorm with his friends earlier this month.
On Tuesday, July 16, his group of friends left the hotel around 7pm, returning hours later to find Mr. Dominy unresponsive on the floor without a pulse.
Emergency services were called, but he was pronounced dead at the scene, as revealed in an inquest opening at Pontypridd Coroners' Court on Monday, July 29.
The court estimated that Mr. Dominy had passed away between 9pm and 10:30pm that evening.
Despite a post-mortem examination, no provisional cause of death was determined.
Assistant coroner for south Wales central, Kerrie Burge, adjourned the inquest pending further information from the Spanish authorities and extended her condolences to Mr. Dominy’s family.
