Tributes to 'gentle' teenager killed in Isle of Wight crash

The family of a teenage boy who died following a collision on the Isle of Wight have described him as an 'amazing and treasured son'.

Police were called to a collision between a Ford Fiesta car and a KTM motorcycle on Hill Lane in Freshwater, at the junction with Pixley Hill, at 5.32pm on Friday (June 23rd).

17-year-old Jake Hall from Freshwater, who was riding the motorbike, was pronounced dead at the scene.

His family are being supported by specialist officers and have now made the following tribute to him:

"An amazing and treasured son - gentle, kind, loving and funny. Passed away too young.

"Will be forever missed by all his family and close friends.

"Wherever you are Jake - Rest in Peace until we meet again.

"All our love, Mum and Dad xxx"

Police are continuing to investigate the incident and are appealing for anyone with information that has not currently come forward to do so.
