Portsmouth protest over cross-Channel electricity plan
Cables would go through Portsmouth to a hub at Lovedean
Around 200 people gathered in the centre of Portsmouth to protest against plans to build a controversial electricity link.
Aquind wants to lay cables from France, under the English Channel, through Portsmouth to a hub at Lovedean.
The deadline for responses is Friday 28th April.
Aquind says the interconnector is vital for the UK's electricity needs.
Last year, the government rejected the scheme but that was quashed by the High Court in January.
Ministers will review the decision in the coming weeks.
