Some more big names are coming to Southsea Common this summer
A new wave of acts have been announced for this summer's Victorious Festival in Portsmouth - including Kasabian as Saturday night headliners for the event.
The UK rock giants will be joined at the event on Southsea Common by Brit Award winning singer-songwriter Ben Howard and Mercury Prize winning band Alt-J.
Ellie Goulding, Friendly Fires, Blossoms, Kaiser Chiefs, Natalie Imbruglia and The Charlatans are also taking to the stage at the event over the August bank holiday weekend.
DJ legend Pete Tong will be bringing his Ibiza Classics show to Victorious, while Annie Mac will also perform an electronic DJ set on Saturday.
For the second year in a row, the event's also announced a star-packed comedy line-up.
Omid Djalili and Shooting Stars' Angelous Epithemiou will headline Friday in the event's Comedy Tent, with Jason Manford compering on Saturday and Mock The Week's Dara O'Briain taking centre stage on Sunday.
The latest acts announced come in addition to Friday headliners Jamiroquai and other already-confirmed names including Sigrid, The Vaccines and The Divine Comedy.
Andy Marsh, Lead Booker at Victorious, said:
"This year’s line-up is one of our biggest to date and we’re thrilled to finally reveal more of the incredible acts our audience can look forward to in 2023.
"For the first time, Victorious will run for three full days and we’re proud of the expansive offering we have for our festival goers covering music, comedy and family entertainment.
