Cunard's new cruise ship Queen Anne will sail from Southampton on its sold out maiden voyage on Friday evening.
The ship, which is based in the city, will sail for Lisbon carrying 3,000 passengers.
Her departure at 9.15pm will be marked by a fireworks display.
Queen Anne, the fourth ship in Cunard's fleet, arrived in Southampton on Tuesday.
Cunard president Katie McAlister said: "We are immensely proud of Queen Anne.
"Not only does she reflect the Cunard distinctive style on the outside, the inside perfectly echoes the brand heritage with reimagined, elegant spaces and designs.
"We can't wait to welcome guests on board for her maiden voyage."
Queen Anne will be officially named in a ceremony in Liverpool on 3 ‌‌‌‌June.
Cunard was founded in Liverpool, but moved its operational base to Southampton in the 1960s.
