Body found in search for missing Southampton man
Police say they are supporting the family of 31-year-old Samuel Croucher
Police searching for a missing man in Southampton have found a body..
The discovery was made in the city last night.
It is yet to be formally identified, but officers believe the body to be that of 31-year-old Samuel Croucher from the city.
Mr Croucher was last seen at Coachmans Copse in the Townhill Park area at around 10am on Tuesday.
Hampshire Police said Mr Croucher's family has been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
A spokesperson for the force added:
Officers will now prepare a file for the coroner.
"We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who shared our appeals.
"Our thoughts are with Samuel's family."
