Man found dead on Tipton railway tracks identified

A man who was found dead on railway tracks close to Tipton Railway Station has been identified.
The man, believed to be in his 30s, was pronounced dead on Tuesday (4 March) following an incident on the line.
British Transport Police are continuing to investigate the death which is being treated as unexplained.
Officers were unable to identify the man despite extensive enquiries after the incident at around 12.35pm on Tuesday 4 March.
Today (6 March), their appeal was updated to say they were no longer appealing to identify him.
British Transport Police said the family was being supported.
