Investigation launched after man hospitalised following Telford collision

A pedestrian is in a serious but stable condition

West Mercia Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was hospitalised following a collision between a van and a pedestrian in Telford.

It happened on the Stirchley interchange roundabout last night at around 10:45pm (19th February).

A man in his 40s was struck by a Vauxhall Combo van as he was crossing the road.

He is in hospital in a serious but stable condition. The driver of the van was not injured.

No arrests have been made yet.

West Mercia Police said they would like to speak to anyone who saw the collision or with dash cam footage to help them figure out what happened.
