Police appeal for information after collision in village near Huntingdon
A woman in her 70s remains in hospital in a critical condition
Police are appealing for information following a serious collision in a village near Huntingdon.
Emergency services were called to the crossroads joining Ramsey Road, Huntingdon Road and School Road, in Kings Ripton, at about 12.30pm on Monday 31 March, with reports of a collision involving a silver Hyundai i10 and a red Toyota Aygo.
Police say the driver of the Hyundai, a woman in her 80s, was taken to hospital with minor injuries. They add that the driver of the Toyota, a woman in her 70s, was also taken to hospital where she remains in a critical condition.
Sergeant Jamie Cooper, from the road policing unit, said: “We are appealing for witnesses to the collision or anyone who saw either vehicle in the moments leading up to it. We would also like to hear from anyone who may have dashcam footage.”
