Winner of 2019's RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, The Vivienne, is Fleur East's first guest on her brand new podcast, The Reality of Reality TV with Fleur East.
Dropping every Tuesday, starting today (7th July), Fleur East takes a look behind-the-scenes of some of the biggest reality TV shows around.
In each episode Fleur speaks to someone who has appeared on TV shows such as, Big Brother, Strictly Come Dancing, Celebs Go Dating, and of course The X Factor and I'm a Celeb, which Fleur herself also starred in herself.
In Episode 1 on The Reality of Reality TV with Fleur East, it's all about RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, the gruelling work involved in the show, why drag is not just fab make-up and a gorgeous body, and what REALLY happened in that 'red wig and silver dress' moment. 👀
Speaking to Fleur, The Vivienne said, "The moment was so not produced, I think it was boiling up to the point where me and Divina (de Campo) have been friends for 12 years, and we still are friends, but things were happening in the room.
"I think she'd got in her head a hell of a lot, and I think she admits that, and will always admit that. I think it was the fact I hadn't chosen her for the girl group challenge. And if you actually look back it wasn't my choice!"

Episode 10: Kerry Katona
Kerry Katona needs no introduction and in her own words, 'you hear before you see her!'. Through highs and lows, husbands and children, she's been gracing our reality TV screens for almost twenty years. So in the final episode of this series of The Reality of Reality TV with Fleur East, she speaks openly and honestly to one of our absolute Queens of Reality TV.
During Episode 1, The Vivienne also explained why you shouldn't blame edits for how you’re depicted on TV.
"For Drag Race especially you see so many queens come off it and they're like, 'Oh I was painted as a villain and they edited me to look this way,' and I'm like, 'girl, shut up!'"
Speaking to Fleur she continued, "You've been through reality TV, you know that there is an editing room and things can be heightened, or played down, but at the end of the day, you said what you said, and I think it's so easy to blame an edit.
"At the end of the day, if you said it, they can't edit those words into your mouth."
She ended by saying, "If you think you’ve been b--chy, guess what girl? You’ve been b--chy!" Harsh, but true!
The Vivienne also revealed what actually happened during that ‘red wig and silver dress moment’, and how Donald Trump and Cher are related.
