This week on Hits Radio we're adding a fantastic new track from Jess Glynne, and a huge collaboration from the amazing Clean Bandit. Both of whom will be performing at our Hits Live events.
Jess Glynne - 'Thursday'
Jess Glynne has just dropped her great new single 'Thursday' and we'll be playing it on Hits Radio all week. The song is featured on her forthcoming album 'Always In Between'.
'Thursday' was co-written with Ed Sheeran and speaking to the Daily Star, Jess revealed what it was like working on the song, "Me and Ed chatted about the pressure of the industry, how it’s changed our lives and how we deal with things," she said. "It was interesting talking to another artist who has had uber-success because he’s experienced certain things people outside of the limelight don’t understand.
"So it was good to have the perspective of somebody who gets it. It turned into a bit of therapy session – that’s where the song (Thursday) came from."
Clean Bandit, Luis Fonsi and Marina - 'Baby'
Clean Bandit have been teasing their new collaboration all week, but finally we get to hear it in full on Hits Radio. The song, featuring Luis Fonsi and Marina is called 'Baby', and the follow up to the band's collab with Demi Lovato, 'Solo'.
