This week we're adding some fantastic new tunes to the Hits Radio playlist from the likes of Calvin Harris with Sam Smith, Jess Glynne and the fantastic band, The 1975.
Calvin Harris and Sam Smith - Promises'
Earlier this week Calvin Harris took to his socials to announce a new collaboration which had got us VERY excited. Posting a photo of the Japanese inspired artwork, showing the song title to be 'Promises' Calvin Harris captioned the photo, 'CALVIN HARRIS // SAM SMITH // very excited about this one !!! @samsmithworld coming Friday presave link in bio'.
Then on Friday, Calvin released the lyric video for his new collaboration. You can watch it below and don't forget to tune into Hits Radio to hear the full song.

Sigala's song is quite the collaboration, it fuses together inspiration from each of the collaborators. Sigala described the song as an, "Amazing mix of cultures with Sean Paul from Jamaica, Fuse ODG from Ghana and Kent Jones from America."

This track is Little Mix's first song to be released in 2018 and quite different from their usual sound.

Jess Glynne - 'All I Am'
Despite announcing yesterday that she would be delaying the release of her second album 'Always In Between', that hasn't stopped Jess releasing new music, and she dropped 'All I Am' earlier today. The singer tweeted the artwork for her new single earlier in the week saying, 'New single this Friday gorgeous people.. are you ready? ALL I AM 17/08/18 💙'.
The 1975 - 'Tootimetootimetootime'
The 1975 dropped their new single 'Tootimetootimetootime' earlier this week, and what a tune it is! 'Tootimetootimetootime' is the band's third single this year following on from 'Give Yourself a Try' and 'Love It If We Made It'. You can hear the song all week on Hits Radio.
As well as these fantastic new songs we're also playing the great tune from Dutch DJ Martin Garrix. Martin has teamed up with singer Khalid on his latest single and they dropped the official music video for 'Ocean' last month.
Moving away from his usual dance tunes, Martin's latest release is a ballad with echoes of his collaboration with Dua Lipa, 'Scared To Be Lonely'. With Khalid's soulful vocals over his laidback tune, this song is already in the UK's Top 40. Written by both Martin and Khalid, along with some other songwriters, this song has been described by Your EDM as "the most mellow of any Garrix song we've heard thus far".
We'll also be playing more of David Guetta and Anne-Marie's collaboration, 'Don't Leave Me Alone'. The pair dropped their single on the 26th July and released the lyric video soon after.
