Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a sexual assault in Oxford.

At around 4.30pm yesterday (Sunday November 5th), the victims, two girls in their teens, were walking along Hollow Way when they noticed a man sat at the bus shelter looking in their direction, performing an inappropriate act.

As they passed the man, he sexually assaulted one of them by touching them inappropriately over their clothing.

The victims then confronted the man, who ran off towards Bulan Road. They followed him to Coverley Road, before losing sight of him.

No arrests have been made at this point.

The offender is described as a man in his thirties, approximately 5ft 11ins tall with pale white skin. He was of an average build and had very short shaven hair. He was wearing a neon green hooded jumper, and cream cargo shorts which came to just above the knee.

Investigating officer PC George Kay, based at Cowley police station, said: “I am appealing for anybody who witnessed this to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police."
