Police appeal for witnesses after road traffic collision near Faringdon

A woman in her sixties was send to hospital after the collision.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a serious road traffic collision on the A417 Buscot Park, near Faringdon.

The incident occurred just before 6.50pm yesterday, when a silver Skoda Yeti left the road.

The driver of the Yeti, a woman aged in her sixties, was injured and required hospital treatment.

No-one has been arrested.

Investigating officer PC David Lund, of the Joint Operations Unit for Roads Policing said: “I am appealing for witnesses to this incident whereby a driver has sustained injuries after this collision.

“I would ask that anyone who was in or near the area in which this collision took place, to get in touch with us if you saw anything or have any information on it.

“Also, if any motorists in the area have dash-cam footage, I would ask them to please check as to whether anything significant was caught, as it could help our investigation.
