Three arrested after man assaulted in Scarborough

Police say enquiries are on-going into the incident

Three people have been arrested in connection with an assault in Scarborough.

It happened at around 6.30pm yesterday (Sunday 8th May) at a flat on Beulah Terrace.

Police say three people made off after the incident and the victim suffered facial injuries.

Officers attended the railway station a short time later and arrested a man in his 40s, a man in his 30s and a woman in her 20s on suspicion of wounding with intent. They remain in custody at this time.
