Man seriously injured after stabbing in York

A man is in hospital with serious injuries after a stabbing in York.
Emergency services were called to Baker Street in the Clifton area of the city at around 7.30pm.
The victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
In a statement North Yorkshire Police said: "Emergency services attended immediately. The male victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
"Urgent enquiries are underway to establish the full circumstances.
"Cordons remain in place at the scene, and members of the public are asked to avoid the area."
Officers are asking witnesses and those with relevant dashcam footage to come forward.
