Scarborough's Coronavirus rate falls again
The borough's seven-day infection rate is back to 11.
Scarborough’s coronavirus infection rate has dropped, after a rise which lasted one day.
The borough’s infection rate, per 100,000, is now back at 11 - after increasing to 13 yesterday.
It remains below the averages for North Yorkshire and England, which stand at 17 and 21 respectively.
It means the borough is averaging 12 new cases a week.
The average rate in North Yorkshire has dropped two to 15, while the rate across England remains at 21.
This week, it was confirmed that for the second week running there are no Covid-19 patients in Scarborough Hospital.
Mobile testing facilities will be available in Whitby, Scarborough and Filey this weekend, for anyone with symptoms to get tested.
