The borough’s seven-day infection rate is now 170 cases per 100,000 people, up from 158 yesterday after 15 new cases were added overnight.
Over the last seven days, the borough averaged 26 new cases a day.
Scarborough’s rate remains below the average for England, which stands at 192.
The average rate for North Yorkshire has also risen slightly to 99 from 96.
Since the start of the pandemic the total number of cases in Scarborough stands at 3,245.
Tomorrow, a decision will be made by the Government on the Tier restrictions and whether any areas will move up or down the alert levels.
Yesterday, London and parts of the South East were moved in to Tier 3 Very High restrictions due to rising case numbers just eight days before rules are due to be relaxed ahead of Christmas.
Today, a mobile testing facility will be at Filey County Park in Filey and at Scarborough’s Seamer Road park and ride site tomorrow.
Scarborough’s walk-in coronavirus testing site at William Street Coach Park is also offering testing seven days a week from 8am until 8pm.
Appointments for all sites must be booked in advance.
