Scarborough Athletic is holding a Legends' Game and community fun day today.

It kicks off from 12pm at the Flamingo Land Stadium and it is a chance for supporters to get together.

There will be activities on the pitch for individuals and families to take part in.

Trevor Bull, Chairman of Scarborough Athletic, said:

"It's something that we did for the first time last year; an opportunity to merge the two clubs together so we've got some players that played for our old club, Scarborough Football Club, across the road at the old McCain Stadium against players from our current club that was formed in 2007.

"It's a chance for supporters to get together. So we've linked with Coventry University to turn it into more of a family fun day and this is something that the Legends' Game can hang on the back of it. People can come down and have a go at foot golf, we've got the rugby club coming and there's lots of stuff on the pitch that people can get involved with and have a go.

"It's about playing our part in the community. The Legends' Game itself is just a bit of fun as part of it but it's great to keep all these guys involved with us. Football fans love looking back and they've all got their favourite players so to see them, meet them and have a chat with them is great for everybody".
