The University of York is to host a pop-up Covid-19 vaccination centre.

The pop-up facility will be based at York Sport Centre on Campus West.

The University has partnered with Nimbuscare to run the clinic, which will take place at York Sport Centre on Campus West on 14 June.

The clinic is open to eligible individuals who are 25 or older, and will have been invited to book their vaccine via text message from Nimbus.

Ian Wiggins, Strategic Projects Director at the University of York, said: “It's really important that everyone gets their vaccine when they become eligible and so we’re delighted to be working with Nimbuscare to make getting vaccinated as easy as possible.”

Students have been sent details of a pre-registration form by email and should use this link to register their interest in this, or future vaccine clinics that the University will run.
