Man accused of killing a woman in Thornton-le-Dale appears in court

He's yet to admit or deny the charge and will be back in court tomorrow

A man has been in court after the death of a woman in Thornton-le-Dale last week.

Shahin Darvish-Narenjbon, 33, and from Tinshill Lane in Cookridge in Leeds is charged with murder.

The woman's body was found in a property in the village on Wednesday 5th January.

He appeared before magistrates over the weekend, is yet to enter a plea and will be back in court tomorrow.
