A man has been in court after driving a car dangerously around Scarborough.
It happened last month when a woman and her daughter were held against their will inside a silver-grey Vauxhall Insignia.
30-year-old Ricky Wells, of no fixed address, denied six charges which includes false imprisonment, threats to kill, dangerous driving, criminal damage and two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
He has been remanded into custody and will appear back in court in August for trial.
